The following privacy policy applies to personal data collected at ESL Reading Smart, Alloy Interactive, Inc., DBA Alloy Multimedia, is committed to protecting the privacy of its users. Because ESL Reading Smart gathers certain types of information about its users, we believe districts and school administrators, as well as teachers, students, and parents or guardians should fully understand the terms and conditions surrounding the use of the information we collect.

This policy does not supersede the terms of any agreements between Alloy Multimedia and any other party, nor does it affect the terms of any agreement between any user of ESL Reading Smart and his/her employer, educational institution, or any third party.

Whenever our Website is accessed, we receive and store certain types of information. We record all data relating to the clients' browser and browsers' operating features, including plug-ins as well as session and activity information in relation to our Website.

We receive and store the information you enter on ESL Reading Smart. We use that information to process your subscription, send you your account information and directions to set up classes, teachers and students, respond to your requests, inform you about usage and assessment results, and to communicate with you. When you send email inquiries to ESL Reading Smart, we use the return email address to answer the email inquiry we receive.

ESL Reading Smart requires district and school administrators and teachers to enter their first and last name, as well as their email address. The student information that administrators and/or teachers enter is limited to the student’s first and last name. We do not request or require students’ school or district ID or their SS number.

We will not share district, school, teacher or student information collected via our Website with any third party, except in the event that our business is sold or merged with another company that contractually agrees to honor the terms of this privacy policy.

ESL Reading Smart is in complete compliance with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act of 1998. ESL Reading Smart puts children's privacy first. We make two promises:

• ESL Reading Smart will never share personal information that identifies any student-user with third parties.

• Parents will always have access to the information we have about their children, including their schoolwork at ESL Reading Smart.

The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) (20 U.S.C. § 1232g; 34 CFR Part 99) is a Federal law that protects the privacy of student education records. Alloy Multimedia does not reveal student information to anyone. The only entities that can access the online student reports that show the student online work are teachers and administrators authorized by the district and/or the school. The only "Directory Information" that ESL Reading Smart has is the students' last name, and first name.
